Chelsea Raise their bid For Modric

Chelsea have made an improved bid of £27 million for the Croatian and Spurs midfielder Luka Modric.

£5 million increase on their previous bid of £22 million but still it is highly unlikely that Spurs will agree to sell their midfield man. Chelsea previously launched £22 million bid for Luka which was rejected by Tottenham Hotspur's chairman Levy saying that "Luka is not for sale to any club at any price". Later Luka Modric burst his anger on the spur's chairman by calling him an "arrogant" man and saying that he broke his promise that he will let him go if a bigger club comes in. With Michael Essien ruled out for 6 months Luka Modric could be the perfect choice for Chelsea. Chelsea will pat Tottenham  £25 million and other  £2 million if they win premiere league and champions league. Lets see how Spurs react..
