The 35 year old Irish goalkeeper of Manchester city has paved his way to Aston Villa and inked down the five years deal for an undisclosed fee. He had his medical at Villa park and later he would be joining the club on Monday. Given joined City in 2009 but was not given much chances in the First team last season and was forced to nest on the benches due to first team preference for Joe Hart . This is the first signing of Aston Villa manager Alex Mcleash.
