Aguero's next destination?

Sergio Aguero wants to quit Atletico Madrid. But which club would be his next possible destination?

The Argentinian striking prodigy is in Argentina right now but it has been confirmed that he wants to leave his current club,Atletico Madrid. He's been wanted by the Bigger European clubs for some time now but the question is: 'Which club should he join?'.
Here are some possibilities:

Real Madrid
Although being a rival club,Atletico might be tempted to sell their prized asset to their bitter rivals. Also with Mourinho as Coach,Aguero might also want to leave for Madrid. But he will surely have a tough competition there in starting line up by the likes of Ronaldo and Higuain. Moreover, the Los Blancos are ready to meet the valuation of the player.

Chelsea
With Abrahamovish's wild desire to win the domestic as well as European titles,he would want to splash his cash for a player of Aguero's calibre. With Chelsea's more direct way of playing,Aguero would be the best striking option for them.

Liverpool
With Dalglish looking to add more striking power to the ranks of his striker's arsenal,Aguero is a likely option. When combined with Kuyt,Suarez and Carroll,Liverpool might again become a potent threatening force in European football.

Aguero is highly likely to join these 3 clubs. However, these clubs may face stiff competition for the signing of the player from Barcelona,Manchester United or Bayern Munich as all of them are looking to strengthen their squads.Aguero is still to decide about his future after Copa Amreica.

After some poor seasons under former manager,Rafael Benitez, many people thought that Liverpool could no longer compete for a major trophy especially after they failed to qualify for the UEFA Champion's League two seasons ago.The installation of Roy Hodgson as his successor did not do any good and eventually half way through the season,Liverpool were at the 12th spot. However, after the appointment of Anfield legend Kenny Dalglish as manager,Liverpool starting raising their game. With new owners, new manager and some new players in the first team,Liverpool look certain to be in the race for the title and give the other teams some tough time.If king Kenny continues doing his job this way,it wont be long before the Kopites will rejoice and fill their trophy cabinet again.

And so the long expedition of The famous Italian "Fabio Cannavaro" has come to an end as he retires from football due to the continuous knee injuries. In his phenomenal career which lasted for almost 19 years he had been a serious pain in the buttocks for all the strikers who came across his way. He won the FIFA football player of the year 2006 and the first defender to get that, as well as the European footballer of the year (Ballon d'Or) the same year. However, the best moment of his life emerged when Italy beat France in the Worldcup Final 2006. He was the skipper of the Italian team that time. Cannavaro started his professional football by joining Napoli in 1993 later on moving to Parma in 1995. For his national team he made the debut in 1997 whilst gaining savvy accomplishments for himself as well as for Parma. He movied to Intermilan in 2002 and then to Juventus and Real Madrid after that. In 2010 he made a move to UAE Football League on a free transfer for the side Al-Ahli Dubai. He would still be working as a technical advisor for the team.

€45million for Neymar to Real Madrid

Real Madrid have pipped the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea in securing the signature of the teenage Brazilian sensation.

The Brazilian wonder kid,who still has not passed his teenage, has done nothing but impress the whole world with his agility, trickery and an eye for goal over the last year. With his performances for both the Brazil National team and his current club Santos,he has caught the eye of every team that desires to win major trophies.

The teenager is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world and who knows, may go on to become one of the greats.

It has been officially confirmed that Santos have agreed Real Madrid's bid for the player and have allowed them to talk to the player.

With strikers like Neymar,Higuain and Benzema at his disposal (along with Ronaldo,Di Maria and Ozil as attacking options) they may have the most lethal offence in all Europe.

Modric's Saga..

Luka Modric 25, perhaps the most influential midfielder in Europe desired his wish publicly that he wants to leave White Hart Lane for Stamford Bridge. A month ago Chelsea made a 22 million bid for the midfielder which was rejected by Spurs Chairman Levy saying that "Luka Modric is not for sale and we don't plan to sell him to any club at any price". To be very honest you cant keep a player who is willing to go for long. If he wants to leave let him leave there is no use of sticking to a player whose heart is somewhere else. In my opinion Spurs are being greedy and selfish and they are ruining Modric's career. Modric who signed a 6 years contract with Spurs last year wants to play at higher level, he wants to play in champion League and rightly so, its the dream of every good player to play in ucl, with Spurs not finishing in top 4 last season and i don't think there is any chance of Spurs being in top 4 next season as well, so whats the purpose of keeping a player who has made it clear that he wants to go to Stamford Bridge and play in the champion league and compete for the trophies. I think Spurs are testing Chelsea's and Modric's patience. Spurs are acting like Modric is more important than their club, they have to think wise and need to move on and Sell Luka if not for 22 million, i am sure Chelsea will raise their bid sooner or later, so they need to sell him at a high price and buy two or more young players and move on. Lets see what happens and how this transfer saga goes on...

Liverpool to move for Michel Bastos

Liverpool are willing to pay Lyon 15million pounds for the services of the left sided player.

Liverpoolfc.tv have confirmed that they have approached the player's club over a possible transfer to Anfield after the player's deal to Juventus collapsed. After Aston Villa rejected Liverpool's latest bid for Stewart Downing,King Kenny has done nothing but given up hope on the player. He sees Bastos as a good player who can play as both left winger and left back. The Brazilian international broke into the first team in 2009 and then impressed everybody with his successful stints at the 2010 World Cup held in South Africa.Given the funds to Liverpool and the player's desire to play attractive football, this could prove to be a lucrative deal for both parties.

Downing bid by Liverpool rejected

According to reports from The Guardian,Liverpool's £15million bid has been rejected for the Aston Villa play maker.

Aston Villa rate the player at £20 million and are quite unwilling to let the player leave after the departure of Ashley Young. However,Downing has shown desire in joining Liverpool and has refused to sign a contract extension with his current deal due to expire in 2 year's time.Villa may just have to cash in on him sooner or later or risk losing him on a free transfer.

Where will Nasri best fit in??.

Being an ardent Arsenal supporter and a huge admirer of young Frenchman`s footballing skills i personally believe he was well suited in Arsenal`s midfield but since his likely departure from North London is not very far and his transfer to another club which most probably would be amongst United, Chelsea Or City is just a matter of days. The question is where would he best fit in?.

Chelsea:

Hmmm.. The blues are interested in taking him to the Stamford but would he be very effective in grasping them the silverwares they are dreaming of ? I doubt that. With a somewhat lousy but immensely sturdy midfield comprising the likes of Lampard, Malouda, Kalou, Essien the dexterous Nasri wont be able to fit in. Nasri`s style of playing is incisive .He`s a playmaker. He cuts in the defense of the opponents, drifts the ball into the net whilst Chelsea`s standards relies much on the corporeal force and the substance that holds them together.

Manchester City:

Money matters . Well yes this is true but class cannot be condoned. Can be?. Rumors state that City is ready to outbid Manchester United`s earlier bid of 20million pounds. Nobody but a fool can deny the monetary puissances of  His Highness Hazrat Sheikh Mansoor (Rahmat ullah ilah) but yes none but a blind man will be able not to see what happens to the quality players who for the greed of money move to City. The tales of Robinho and Tevez is right in front of you . Factual Sarcasm aside , Lets get to this straight. How good Nasri can be for City?. Barry, Toure, Johnson, Silva are the pillars of City`s midfield while Ballotelli and Bellamy play as strikers. City has adapted Chelsea`s style of playing and caused serious trouble for the top notch teams last season including Chelsea and United qualifying for Champions league as well as snitching the FA cup. City has already gotten Clichy who will augment their defense to some extent with his blistering pace and all that. City plays with a defensive attitude while Nasri is ready to pounce upon any defense which i presume will hinder the City`s midfield.

Manchester United:

For me, the most apt club for Nasri would be Manchester United. Trophies, experiences, playing with the top notch players and a quality football, everything what a player dreams about is what a player finds in Old trafford. And this is what Nasri wants as well. Earlier, Manchester united placed a bid of 20million pounds which was refused by the Gunners .Now they are planning to improve their bid. Manchester united`s playing style is quite similar to that of Arsenal`s . And Nasri will quickly fit in the Old Trafford. Playing with the likes of Giggs and Scholes and Rooney will gain him the expertise. Nasri will be propping the attacking midfield of United along with Nani and Carrick.. If Nasri is sane enough he wont be going to any other club except for United.

Lets see how this saga rolls on.

Chile 2-1 Mexico..

Two second half goals from Arturo Vidal and Esteban Paredes wins it for Chile.

Mexico took the lead in 41st minute with a goal from Nestor Araujo heading over Claudio Bravo. A long ball from Dos Santos was not dealt well by the Chile defender allowing Araujo to score. In the second half Chile put pressure on Mexico which was rewarded in the 58 minute when Paredes scored an equalizer. With Chile pushing forward and putting more pressure on Mexico Arturo Vidal took the lead stealing the win for Chile. Chile is now on top of the table in group C.

Saurez rescues Uruguay!!

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez rescues Uruguay from upset with a half time equalizer against Peru.

Uruguay came from behind against Peru to settle for a 1-1 draw. Paolo Guerrero Broke the deadlock half way through the mid of the 1st half which was equalized by Suarez through a great run in the dying moments of the first half. In the second half Uruguay went on better as Suarez gave a through ball to Forlan an easy chance was missed by former Manchester United forward, he could only fire over the bar and match was ended 1-1.

Charlie adam transfer saga

Little did the football fans know about Charlie Adam prior to his transfer to the newly promoted side in the Barclay's Premier League, Blackpool.

After spending a year long loan with the Championship side, Charlie Adam's deal was made permanent for a club record fee of £500,000.

During his stay at the club, Adam played a vital role in keeping the midfield static and made sure that the goals and assists keep in coming in bulk. After Blackpool's promotion to the BPL,Adam mesmerized the audience with his superb skills and wicked deliveries. His skills drew attention in no time and big clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United started showing interest in the player.

On 22 January, Blackpool manager Ian Holloway confirmed that the club had received a bid of £4.5m from Premier League club Liverpool. Holloway described the bid as "disgraceful" and it was rejected.Blackpool then rejected a transfer request that Adam had made to the club.

After Blackpool's one year impressive but unsuccessful stint, they were relegated to the championship. This opened a gateway for Adam to move to a bigger club. With Liverpool chasing him since January,Adam was not deficient in having good suitors for the midfield role. However,he himself has shown desire to move to Anfield but the main problem is that Blackpool want £9 million for the midfield maestro which is too much for what Liverpool are willing to pay for. This saga has been dragging on for quite some time now and one may think that if Blackpool don't agree with Liverpool over a possible transfer then a gem like Adam might stay in the championship for another year. Moreover, the return of Alberto Aquilani has also put some effect on the deal.

Only time will reveal what happens.Let's wait and watch

Arsenal no longer a club for genuine superstars????

6 years without winning a silverware, with big stars speculated to leave the club this summer, with no major signings yet this could be the end for Arsenal. Every superstar dreams of trophies and with Arsenal failing to win any trophy in 6 years, Arsenal might no longer attract any superstar. Arsene Winger is no doubt an excellent manager but he has not been able to progress in the transfer market. Small clubs sell before buying a new player but things are different at top clubs, see Manchester United they have spent around 50 million till now, Liverpool are progressing in the market, even spurs with no major signings yet have told clearly that Luka Modric and Gareth Bale are going nowhere, Cheslea are progressing in the market , but there is nothing happening at Emirates. Arsene Winger needs to sign players who can replace the likes of Sami Nasri, Fabregas and Clichy if they leave otherwise situation might get worst for Arsenal.

Andre Villas Boas starts his mission from the day one that's very positive for the club who wants to challenge for the titles. I have not worked under Jose Mourinho but my friends suggest that Villas Boas is more attacking. That will surely bring change in the Chelsea system.

Villas Boas..The Man For Chelsea??

It was 2009/2010 season when Carlo Ancelotti delivered Chelsea a double, and everyone thought he was the man for Chelsea who will bring stability in the club and there will be no more sacking. And here we go another season goes by and Ancelotti fails to deliver silverware and Roman Abramovic "The owner of Cheslea" shows no mercy and sacks Carlo. And the man who was once a "Hero" was given the same fate as others were. Roman who is obsessed with Champion League wants constant success from managers and if they fail to deliver results they don't last that long. After a month search Andre Villas Boas was appointed Chelsea's 6th manager in 7 years. No doubt Villas Boas has proven his worth at the biggest stage but will he be able to sustain the pressure you have when your owner wants just success. Many are speculating that how long this man would last at Stamford Bridge and many think that he is the "MAN FOR CHELSEA" and he will do the unthinkable. Of course he is just 33, but age is no issue when u have intelligence like this man. I personally think he would bring something new to Chelsea. With Fernando Torres struggling desperately with his form scoring just a single goal in 13 premiere league appearances Villas Boas may be the man who could do the magic and bring back the "Torres" which we used to see in Liverpool shirt a year ago.
